I think after 4 new housings....I've found the solution. I got upgraded to the DC 1200. Just got it in the mail Friday. Haven't used it yet, but looking at it, It looks like it will be great. Talk to a rep and see if they'll upgrade you to the 1200.

I'm on my 4th DC 1000 housing at the shutter release still sticks. Never fails.....works for a few pics then when I see the great shot I want badly.......bam......nothing. Hoping to try the new 1200 soon.

Karl has taken care of me as well. Several issues with my DC 1000 and the shutter release button jamming. Each time he has sent a replacement housing. I'm still having issues but he continues to take care of me.
