I finally got round to putting up a slideshow on the net. It features all my best pics from 2004, mostly UK shots but a few from the Red Sea too. It might take a little while to load, but please be patient and remember to have your speakers on! Enjoy! Jersey Underwater

Has anyone here been on any UW photo courses, such as the UW photographer course that PADI run, or any of the courses that some of the UW photo Pro's run? I've been asked by one of the local dive centres if i'd be interested in doing some basic UWP tuition, but not too sure how much these...

    Nikon 70-180mm & Aquatica

I hope someone on her might be able to help I tried to setup my 70-180mm last night, but I'm totally confused on how the gears/port extension and lens support are put together. Firstly I put both gears on the lens and attached it to the camera (in the housing) and then put the extension...

    Yestreday's dive 31/8 (Jersey, UK)

I haven't posted (or dived) for a while. The weather for the past month has been terrible for us here in the UK - high winds, thunderstorms, flash floods, heavy rain. The viz last night was pretty terrible - a few feet. The sea was very cloudy, as oppoosed to the viz being bad due to...

    I need a little help/advice.....

I've been asked if a major UK charity can use one of my pictures in a conservation campaign (one of my infamous blenny pics!!). They have asked me for an A5 sized 300dpi version. Do I simply work out the dimensions by working out 300 (DPI) by 8.5" x 6" (A5) size? This would give an...

I decided to take a break from the usual macro shots and have a go at some wide angle shots with the 12-24mm. I new it was going to be tricky with the UK viz (about 6m), but here's the best of my attempts a shoal of Sand Smelt My buddy Gary

    Suggestion How about a glossary??

I'm pretty much up to speed on shortenings now, but when I first started using the board I found it really hard to know what people were on about when the post "shorthand" responses, such as IMHO, DIR, etc. How about we setup a glossary for them all, maybe even separate ones in each section...
