I went to DEMA 2012 to see all the new and best dive equipment and did not find a acoustic doppler navigation device . I may have missed it with all those rows of vendor Booth's but would like to ask this forum to update this topic of discussion .

I plan to build a battery module for my DPV using Honda hybrid cells . They are very robust and less hassle than lithium but much heavier . Cells are about 50 watts a kilo so a 1000 watt module will be 40 some pounds . I can play around with voltage and motors with my DPV projects .
