Question about the original post about Cairns and PD day trips. I plan to travel there in January. Just wondering
if you rec. Cairns over PD for day trips, also if you would rec. one operator over another from the ones you used in Cairns. I will be traveling with 3 nondivers so my goal is to get...
Planning Galapagos but going with a non diver. Is their a way to dive Darwin and Wolf without doing a full blown liveaboard. ? Also how experienced does
one need to be to dive those two sites.
I have a pair of TUSA fins that are about 10-15 years old. They still do the job but I am looking to get some new fins. Any suggestions? I have looked at some of
the other past threads.
Thanks for the suggestion. What would your choice be in about the
same price range for u/w photography. I think she has 30 days to return
her camera and I know she wanted to have one that allowed u/w work.
My dive buddy just got one of these. I was going
to get her the UW housing for Christmas but am not sure
which housing is specifically compatible with the L3.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.
I am just happy there were more voters who wanted Ohio State
to play a different team and a conference champion rather
than a team that they had already beaten at the end of the season
GO GATORS
When I went to T&C, I took my own gear and was glad I did
only so that I would not have to spend half a dive learning
new equipment and could enjoy the view.
I went with CA and they were great.
And yes, I saw sharks on over half of the dives.
Have a good trip.
I thinks it comes down to personal preference. If you plan to get involved
in tech diving, cave, cavern you will eventually need a bp/wing set up.
My suggestion would be to try both and see which one suits you.
Based on my own personal experience, Nitrox does decrease fatigue.
I have done several spring dives with the only difference being air
or Nitrox. After a day of diving on air, I felt like taking a nap. While
after Nitrox I was refreshed and not tired at all. But this is my own experience.
If you have never been diving in the springs, I think
you have selected a good selection of spots.
I just dove Blue Grotto today and my dive buddy and I
were the only 2 people there until we were leaving
at about 4pm.
Happy Diving.
I try and carry on my regulator, computer, and mask.
Sometimes if I am feeling risky, I will check in my BCD.
My concern is theft rather than equipment damage.
