    ISO Used DPV

I have 3 buddies that have the Cuda X. I still can’t justify it.

    ISO Used DPV

Yes to the P2 over the Sierra. I guess everything is for sale for the right price. I just bought the Cuda because I couldn’t justify the price of the new DPVs.

Medical Fatality in Plura cave system in Norway

If you have a company that makes rebreathers, and one of your family members passes diving one of the rebreathers you make, I would think that you would want to have some official information out ASAP to help quell any rumors about diver error or the like. My guess is that Dive Rite has worked...

    ISO Used DPV

I have a Sierra that I may not keep around for my 13yo. It currently has a Smart-DPV controller, a Blacktip prop, and no battery. I have most of a PTB adapter made and I haven’t had the need to finish it. I honestly will probably keep it. That said, I really liked my Sierra. It had 90+minnof...

    Anyone diving with TMJ?

I have some jaw issues. Locking on one side after diving in some situations, followed by pain on the same side. I’ve had great luck with very flexible hoods. The NEMO 5mm is incredible. I also have their 11mm, but sometimes have issues with that one. If I’m diving CCR, I take time to make...

    Tourist dive in Milwaukee?

Check out the shipwreck of the Appomattox. It is accessible from shore, at a park in Whitefish Bay, WI. There used to be 100ish stairs, but I've been told there is a paved ramp now. I don't know that it counts as quick and easy. There are a few dive shops remaining in Milwaukee, but...

Santi Thermovalve air leak into drysuit

I had my Santi 303 continuously inflate on a dive too. I did disassemble and reinstall, but I guess I should stay alert for it to happen again.

They must not have seen your request in the other thread either🤣.

    Drysuit Recommendations

Regardless of which brand you choose, fit is the most important part of a drysuit. My last two suits have been custom, and it is nice. I know that some of the manufacturers, like Bare and DUI, have expanded their stock sizes to include short tall sizes. This gives a lot more opportunity to...

    Wing Size for 10yo

I had my son in an 18lb Oxycheq wing at first. He’s now in a 30 pound Hollis.

    Line Markers and You!

If I’m wearing dry gloves and have poor dexterity, I use a clip like you mentioned. If I’m bare handed I put them in a zipper pocket on my drysuit. Specifically the one on the flap of the thigh pocket.

Heated vests - Do they actually work ?

I currently have a Santi vest and gloves with a 20Ah LM can with their controller in the lid. The gloves might be my favorite. It is nice to have a controller that you can start with low heat, and then work your way up to the highest setting. I've learned that my old body adjusts to the heat...

Question Drysuit Heating. Which valves should I get?

I'm currently using the Santi 303. I like it better than the stationary valves I've tried. I would buy it again.

    Cold water deco regs?

Try it. If it sucks in cold water, you'll get tired of feathering the valve on deco and get a more suitable regulator.

    Canister advice

One thing that is sometimes overlooked with lights is what are your buddies using? We use lights for signaling. If a team member has a light that is so bright that it drowns out another light, you lose the signaling aspect of it. I've been using Light Monkey lights and I have had good luck...

    Pitkin controller and lights

You can put a Pitkin Controller lid or the "normal" lid on the same canister from LM, but you can't run your lighthead with the Pitkin controller integrated lid. Like others who have replied, I use separate batteries for heating and lights. I believe the LM dual output cans have one Heater...

    DIY Tank tumbler

I think it was a feed roller for a printing press. I think I still have some of it, but shipping would be cost prohibitive.
