So, to get us back on topic... Kinda same boat here-haven't been wet in almost 2 years, but have advanced open water certs and round 150 dives and we own our own equipment but will be renting this trip. Amoray? The operator at the State park? Islamarada dive center? I like the shallower...

Embarcadero beach is a nice place too. Tutrtle reef at the Macabuca bar would be fun as you could take a cab then spend some time there. Cool bar too. Monday has a great BBQ in the evening.

I too had a bad experience with Redsail. Did the kittywake with sunset house and I liked them. Out on the east end is ocean frontiers. First class diving. Great divemasters and interesting sites. And it is glamor diving at its finest. They will rig you up and rinse your gear and have it ready...
Dive stingray city. Its only 15 feet or so and a blast. I've got vimeo vids if you are interested. Also best shore dives are turtle reef at macabuca. And go on Monday for the BBQ. Lighthouse point is a great shoredive as well.
That's a shame. Agree that Eden Rock and the Grotto are pretty beaten down. Sunset House is down the street a bit and same deal with the reef, but the landing craft and mermaid were cool. We were there in July and did mostly shore dives. We enjoyed Turtle reef at Macabuca and Lighthouse...
Compilation of 2 tanks at Turtle Reef, Grand Cayman. This is the dive that is out in front of the Macabuca bar. Used a gopole and backscatters flip filter system. Edited the video using the gopro app.
