I use a stretch liner in 25/75+ water temps. It is more than enough for me. Suggest you not wear cotton/wool as it can be dangerous if you get damp.

Mike, I bought my HP hoses (3 of them with one blow-out) from a EU source. Do you think per chance that the USA version may be better?

I had a blowout on the Miflex HI Pressure thin hose. Glad that I had a spare but I have no confidence with this thin hose anymore and will change soon. It had about 100 dives on it over past year. It blew on the hose itself and about 0.5cm from the top of the hose.

All comments above are correct. As for me, i always spemd Chinese New Year at PG. Water is a bit chilly for me (25-26 degrees) but great place for 3-4 days diving.

This delay is why i bought an X1. Plus i had fails on the wireless often so i no longer trust that feature and went with SPG.

If you want to avoid the traffic to PG, take th seaplane or helicopter. Make the trip from Manila 40 minutes rather than the 3 hour drive and 1 hour boat ride. You did say budget was not a concern and by western standards not that expensive to avoid missing a day of diving in god's swimming...
