EXACTLY the ys-01 does more than the ys-03. It has settings for stuff I have no clue how to use. All I need is the TTL setting and none of the other. That is why I got the ys-03 and am trying to sell the YS-01. Being a newbie I have accidentally set the flash to the wrong setting for some dives...
Ok. Apparently I was overly ambitious. Did some research and they aren’t as expensive as I paid. So price is $350 each or $650 for both. Plus actual shipping cost
I have 2 Sea & Sea YS-01 Solis strobes for sale. I was told to buy them for my camera set up and later learned that I needed the YS-03 so I am trying to sell these because I do not need them. They are used but in excellent condition. I paid over $500 each for these and would like $800 for both...
I have recently started diving a back plate with wing. The question is where do i put all of the stuff i used to carry in my BC pockets. Like safety sausage, spare mask, camera, and flashlight. When i use the dry suit i have pockets but with warm water where does it go?
I wouldnt want something made entirely in house. Kind of like seeing a general doctor for your brain surgery and heart surgery. Could they do it? Possibly. Would they do the best job? Probably not. I would want the specalist doing what they do best
+1 for the bio bay it was awesome but i recommend you make arrangements in advance because it gets very busy. As far as snorkling i dont know but i was very dissapointed with the diving
I am going to puerto rico this summer and of corse i want to go diving. Where can i get a list of good dive shops that offer trips? I am looking for two days with a night dive?
I was reading a post a few months ago and someone gave the name of "the man" to talk to about getting a custom drysuit made and I need his name and website.
I have a gripe and a plea. First for christmas i decided to get the wife a trip to Catalina to dive. I talked with an employee of the sundiver and through the communication I recieved via phone calls and text messages I was lead to believe everything was set to go for a boat dive leaving Long...
Obviously the ENT was not a certified by DAN. It is a certified ENT that was recommended to me specifically by DAN. Therefore it was a DAN certified ENT. Just like I am a Gila County certified dive team member. not that I am certified by Gila County but I am associated with them. And once...
as long as you have tympanostomy tubes in place you would equalize be able to equalize through the TM tube hole (I actually discussed this very issue with a DAN certified ENT and he agreed that with tympanostomy tubes you can only dive with solid plugs or one of the air ear mask things) but like...
if you have tympanostomy tubes, which is what it sounds like you have, you would not ear plugs that are vented. you would want a solid plug that would keep all water out. I would recommend going to a DAN affiliated ENT specalist and they can make you custom plugs that will be much more...
