Steel HP120 Cylinder w/DIN Valve for Sale in Chicago for $140obo (City/Edgewater)

Hi there! I'm selling my steel high-pressure 120 scuba cylinder. It has a DIN valve, but of course an adapter can be purchased if your gear is "normal" ;-) I've used this tank at Haigh Quarry and in the Gulf of Mexico, but have not dived in almost 2 years (yikes). A steel 120 will take...

Women's Size 14 Henderson HyperStretch Titatium 7mm John and Jacket This wetsuit is in like-new condition, with no noticeable wear or damage. My ex-girlfriend wore it twice and then quit diving. I'll also throw in a set of Large Henderson H2 Titanium gloves if you'd like. They aren't in as...

    Diving with a Pony

I always sling my AL40 when diving below 60 ft and sometimes on shallower dives. I'm sort of moving in the direction of always taking it. I always take it if diving solo. I don't notice it at all under water, except that I can rest my hand on the valve if I want to and I need to remember to...

Is it worth hauling a steel tank?

I concur. I'm writing this on my phone as we drive through Mississippi on our way back to Chicago from Freeport, TX. Part of the reason I chose to drive was to haul a HP100 and HP120. We dove some fantastic sites and payed good money for the trip, and the larger tanks just made it that much better.

    Where did you dive today?

2 x Stetson Bank, Buoy #2, at the Flower Garden Banks National Marine Reserve. 100 feet visibility and an absolutely gorgeous dive site consisting of rock and coral near a gentle drop-off into the abyss. 81 degress F -- below the 2nd thermocline. Too bad it's over!

Hey Dan, the last two weekends I've gone to Wazee. Tomorrow my GF and I are starting the marathon drive to Texas to dive the Flower Garden Banks this weekend, but I've got no plans next weekend. Let me know and hopefully we can dive and/or practice skills.

    First Solo Dives

All I meant was that you had another motive. Unless diving was your ulterior motive for being in the area in the first place. That's gonna be the case when I go up to visit my GF's brother in September ;) As do I. I actually wore a weight belt to make space for a pocket :depressed: I...

    First Solo Dives

Dave, I will have to see. I don't think I would ever solo dive beyond recreational limits even though I would like to get into tech diving in the next year or so. Also, I'm sure everyone has a psychological threshold and I would either back off during the dive or not do it at all if I felt it...
