I don't post on here like I used to, but I mourned her loss when I found out on Facebook. She was a treasure to the local diving community and her legacy will live on. She will be missed.
My dad and I dove off the ramp yesterday to continue working on his buoyancy and trim. He had a wing nut come off of his BP/W as we passed over the platform. We called the dive as his gear started to come appart. Add that to what needs to be checked in our predive check. I would have never...
Most of the comments that I've received have been about my long hose when diving a single tank. I don't get many comments about my tech rig.
When I'm diving with someone who has never seen the long hose in action before, I ask them if they want to practice an OOA scenario, and if they say yes...
It's been too long since I've been up there. Thinking about a few dives this weekend to get my dad ready for his AOW. We need to work on his trim and buoyancy. Thank you for the update.
I enjoy the aspect as I do diving over a shipwreck. There is history and beauty, not to mention challenge in the extended stay for the depth.
Good to know that someone else likes the experience.
I was the deep safety diver and was not given any indication that there was something wrong until the diver was on the surface. The information in the report above is sufficient until the diver wishes for more information to be released. I hope you all understand. He is doing better after the...
Do you have a picture of this configuration? I'm guessing you are using one of the basic mounting brackets that come with the camera and then just run bungee cord through it with a SS Bolt Snap attached to the cord? I think I have the gist, but a picture would be most helpful. I just got a GoPro...
A well written article, Megan. Thank you for sharing. I hope to be able to afford Advanced Trimix one day. Your story, focusing on enjoyment, is a great inspiration to keep going. Best of luck with your future endeavors.
Whites Justin,
Thank you for the video link. I test dove the Fusion Sport again this past weekend and so much of my previous discomfort had to do with user error. I do think the S/M size will work. It might still be on the cusp, but a much better fit.
I take the screw on cap off the first stage and the screw in cap out of my tank valve and pair them together placing them in my reg bag and then in my $7 walmart rubbermaid bin.
Good to know. That seems very likely as both of the suits were the first ones of the ind this area had seen. I'll keep that in mind when I try the S/M out again within the next two weeks.
A simple fix. Thanks for the idea.
Thank you for extending your experience in this matter. Paying for a...
