I have one spot left on this trip. This trip is 6 diving days. Housing in a 5 bedroom, 4 bath beach house IS included in the price. Price is 1538.00 plus expenses (travel, meals, nitrox, ect...). We will leave Broken Bow, Oklahoma on August 6th & return on August 15th. You can carpool with us...
We just switched over from PADI to SDI/TDI. I have a bunch of PADI materials I need to get rid of. I am posting a list below with PADI numbers for most of it. I would like to sell it as a lot. I have over $3000 invested in it at my price level. Cost at the lowest price level available from PADI...
The only key I would worry about getting wet is the kind with the remote made into the key head. Every key that I have had with a "chip" in it has gone diving with me & never failed to work. I have had most of them down over 200 feet. They all still worked fine.
Lead has quadrupled in price in just the past two years. China was exporting 60% of the worlds lead supply. Now, they export NONE. They are using all they can mine.
The 8 aluminum 80's are rigged as stage bottles. That are not doubles. Each tank has it's own regulator, second stage & pressure guage. Each tank also has MOD (maximum operating depth) markings on it to let the diver know how deep he can be while breathing off it. They all contain different...
I am looking for a boat captain who knows the bottom topo off the texas coast. I figure that would be someone who is an underwater hunter. If you are one or know someone who is, please PM or email me.
Thanks

Mixing is like diving. There is a certain amount of risk involved. If you have the proper training & are careful & diligent, the risk is small but still, it is there. It is not an unreasonable amount but it may be more than you are willing to accept.
Don't let fear of the unknown stop you...
Great job on being able to get back in control. I agree, it could have been narcosis or it could have been CO2 retention. Both can cause those feelings. Severe CO2 retention leaves me with a headache that lasts for a couple of hours.
I agree. Call DAN. Just in case.
It could just be a pinched nerve. If that is the case, a visit to the chirocopractor is in order. It happens to me every once in a while & nothing can fix it but the chiropractor.
It takes two or three days after a visit before I'm back to normal but I notice...
Well, I don't know about the "exponential something or other" or about the "1^/ whatever" but I do know that last year, I was diving with my son & a student when lightning hit the lake about 100 yards from where we were. It passed up all them TALL, TALL trees around the shore & hit the low, low...
The .5% FS will do everything you need. Mixing is as much art as science. You will learn you have to have a "fudge" factor in your mixing & that depends on your particular "style". It won't do any good to have a gauge that is accurate to .0001% when your fudge factor is "between 20 & 35 psi for...
I'm looking for a map of the town that is covered by lake Tenkiller. Can anyone point me to one? Even GPS coordinates for buildings would help, if anyone has any marked.
Thanks
James
One thing that can cause a second stage to "breath wet" is the exaust valve. It can be torn or have a hole in it or be folded along the edge or sometimes, just out of position.
If your first stage has a pressure creep, it usually shows up as a leak on one of the second stages. The first stage...
