Day trips from Khao Lak in May?

I dived a lot with Lanta Diver from Koh Lanta in June last year. That is supposed to be low or green season. We had poor visibility some days, but some of the days we had fantastic visibility. We never had any rough weather, the boat was not crowded and we saw some really nice marine-life. The...

Diving Recommendations for Cruise to Norway

You will probably find some good diving in all of those places. Cold water, with dry-suit diving. We have a lot of 2. world war wrecks all along the norwegian coast. There is also good dives in kelp forrests etc. There is no dive shops in Geiranger, Honningsvåg or Flåm. Dive shops in...

Diving and Hiking in Lofoten Islands and Bodø

It can be colder. You should bring your thick drysuit insulation. In Saltstraumen it can be colder sometimes during the dives because of all the water comming up from the deep. Coldest temperature I had there was 6C. I dived there in August.

Question Cape Verde - Sal Island

I have dived with Cabo Verde Diving on two trips. One trip was a group-trip and one was with my wife and a friend. On both trips we got to dive all the divesites we wanted. We were really happy with Cabo Verde Diving. Do not remember if there was any beginners on the boat, so I guess it wasnt a...

Diving and Hiking in Lofoten Islands and Bodø

I have not been to Lofoten. It would not be my first choice for diving in Norway even though its probably good, but one of the nicest places for hiking. If you want to experience the best diving in Norway, in my opinion, you should go to Saltstraumen outside Bodø. Its a unique place with one of...

    Racha Island Diving

Stay on Phi Phi and avoid Racha. You dive many of the same divesites anyway.

Diving a couple of days from Tikila Bar

S We had just the same experience as you on the first day. We walked in and out as we wanted in our divegear without any problems. We were there with Steph only. Problems started when she was there on the second day. Looked like Steph did not want an argument with her, so he just kept quiet...

Diving a couple of days from Tikila Bar

We have come back to PdC after 4 dives with Jungle Divers over 2 days. We contacted Jungle Divers via email and they were very helpful. They helped us to book a room for one nigth in Albatross Suites wich is only a 5 minutes walk from the diveshop. And we booked 4 Tikila dives. We did one...

Diving a couple of days from Tikila Bar

I have been diving Cozumel before, both from shore and boatdives. I am diving Cozumel direct from PdC. I am on a package trip with flights and hotel included. Not possible to book a package trip to Cozumel from Norway. In these Covid times it is safer for me to book package trips because the...

Lanta Operators / Specific Dive Guides

I have dived a lot with Lanta Diver through several years. I always dive with my wife as a buddy. I take photos and I enjoy mostly macro. I have never dived in a big group while diving with them. Sometimes one or two divers have joined our group, but usually we have dived alone with a guide. I...

Which dive club should I choose in Sharm El Sheikh?,

I have been many times in Sharm (about 30 dive trips to Egypt). My recommend you dive with a dive club that is not too far from the hotel you live in. I think its a waste of time if you stay far from your dive club with the transport to the divecentre and to the port. I always stay in hotels...

    Koh Lanta

For me, the easiest way to get to Lanta is to book a privat car with a driver from Lanta. When I arrive at the airport the driver is waiting for me outside. There is only one ferry. The bridge was completed a couple of years ago. I am travelling to Lanta next monday. I payed 2000 bath for a...

    Koh Lanta

I recommend Lanta Diver. Lanta Diver have 3 different boats (two big boats and one speedboat) so its easy to get to the divesites you want to dive. Most of the Lanta Diver crew have worked there for many years so they know the divesites very well. Some of the other diveshops have a lot of...
