Suit filed in case of "Girl dead, boy injured at Glacier National Park

Denial avoids guilt and the host of emotions and consequences that would accompany... conscious and subconscious motivations are strong for her to believe her obviously false claim.

Suit filed in case of "Girl dead, boy injured at Glacier National Park

We've done the dry suit inflation, weights, not attending the student, and lack of experience in the student. Have we done the parts where: Instructors not certified to instruct what they were teaching (drysuit diving). Wanna do your first night dive without a light? (Could Linnea have...

Suit filed in case of "Girl dead, boy injured at Glacier National Park

That legal brief was absolutely wild to read (and well done). What a horrific and absolutely avoidable incident with a mind-boggling number of nearly unfathomable lapses. I hope there is justice for Linnea and E.G. Also, poor Bob.

My Week on The Socorro Aggressor

Yes. Not nearly so nice inside. I I have attached images from inside the cabin that show mildew panels that were falling off stains excetera and the Very Old finish.

    Socorro Aggressor?

YES THERE ARE The 2 trips after your May 2019 trip had even worse mechanical issues than your trip. (They also cancelled the Xmas 2018 trip due to mechanical failures requiring dry docking). They lost an engine at sea. They couldn't fix it and my trip was cancelled. All the trips for the rest...

My Week on The Socorro Aggressor

I'm not surprised that the boat was having all those mechanical issues. Didn't know about that a 4th voyage had major issues. There are probably even more. So let me tell you about 3 other Socorro Aggressor trips with worse mechanical issues than yours. My trip was cancelled because of engine...

The best way to "do" Curacao?

I'm going soon. I was thinking about Kura Hulanda and using Go West, but after reading recent reviews of Kura Hulanda Lodge on Trip Advisor I'm a bit nervous...

Medical Issues of Diving at Altitude

Last time I checked, which was a while ago, none of the computers were taking nitrogen preload from pre-dive-ascent from lower altitude. I didn't see any that gave a time-to-safe ascent either, usually just flying timers. This information is necessary, particularly if the way home is over a...

    CPR for older people?

Aviator - indeed. I saw your name and thought "I haven't post in this thread yet":shocked2: Talking about ethics, there IS indeed a debate in the USA. There are lots of parts of your statement one could debate with on ethical grounds. For example, who has the right to decide, especially when...

    CPR for older people?

What medical providers do (or do not do) for persons without a DNR and with an expected poor outcome is a frequent debate in medical ethics (fun classes, take one). TheAvatar RN EMT (CPR instructor too)

Altitude issues if staying in Captain Cook area

This is the table I use. http://www.ndc.noaa.gov/pdfs/AscentToAltitudeTable.pdf You have to use tables to do it. Altitude change is the difference between the dive site and the maximum altitude obtained (destination or travel to it) rounded UP to the next 1000ft. Please note repet group is...

    Hyperbaric Nursing?

Thank you all for the excellent info. I am definitely interested in critical care so I am all about the advice that suggests working my way into the ICU as quickly as possible first. I certainly don't have my heart set on treating DCS cases, but I do want to deal in critical care. Would being...

    Hyperbaric Nursing?

How would a nursing student work toward a RN career in hyperbarics? I'm not even specifically looking to work in a tropical location (I love the mountains), just at a facility somewhere because the field interests me. Obviously I dive. I'm good at math and love physics. I've been an EMT...

    high altitude diving

I've dove on the 10K table. Our team has used the 12K table on occasion, but those dives were shallow. We use the NOAA tables for predive ascent/depth adjustment/and post dive ascent.

Tnx... doesn't ruin the diving but it does ruin the hope for U/W photos.

How to get a Canon charger fast on vacation? (in Cozumel)

There's Foto Omega which has a lot of universal chargers and proprietary batteries, but none for Canon. There's the Fuji Film store, which sells Canon DSLRs, but doesn't sell extra batteries or chargers for them. Have the most common DSLR battery type out there turns out not to help me here.

Tried those no luck. Unfortunately no time to go to PDC until 21st. What stores there? No replies in the Cozumel forum thread.
