    I agree, get a consult from Dive Alert Networks medical staff. The Drs you have dealt with may have no training in dive emergencies

    All agencies that are signed on to the International Agreement Teach the same basics, just package it a little different and add some different things. ANDI from what I found is bigger into tech diving much like TDI. The most important part of training is the instructor no matter what agency.

    Welcome to Scuba Board and to the great fun of diving. Buoyancy is something that improves with practice. Warm water is great but you may find the brown water less brown as your buoyancy improves.

    Volunteer Dive Team

    In Kenosha Wisconsin we have simialiar situation. We affiliatted with a already operating volunteer ambulance service to provide a dive team. How ever you proceed, make sure you go through the legal process to become a legal agency with protection for law suits, emergency response and other rules.

    I use them all the time, even at race track.

    CPR in water when close to shore / boat what to do first?

    Don't bother with CPR until on boat or shore. Best thing to do is strip gear and breaths. It is also very hard to assess circulation in water.

    Utila Dive Recommendation for the older diver

    I have stayed at Laguna Beach and found the staff great and most people there about your age. It does seem a little pricey. Lazy Daze is a very nice place to stay also. You may want to book a room or apartment there and check out dive shops yourself when you arrive, so many great ones on.Utila

    Diving operator recommendation for Utila

    Utila Watersports is both a PADI and SSI instructional facility. The owner is Troy Bodden and I have had great fun and was impressed with his staff at Laguna beach Resort on Utila. He also operates the Utila Aggressor.

    Underwater pictures with Santa

    Youngest in scuba was 13, we had some as young as 7 using snorkel and 4 year olds on the surface. I think the oldest was older than Santa. We had a lot of fun doing it!

    We had great time doing pictures with Santa! Many ages got pictures takenin shallow end of pool and a lot of food for a local food pantry!

    Utila Lodging - Laguna Beach Resort vs. Deep Blue

    I have stayed at Laguna and found it to be great. The Divemasters were excellent and if the Skipper on your boat is Wagner you are in for a treat. The cabins are very nice adn all have docks of thier own. Shore diving is easy and you can exit onto the on pier, then leave your tanks right...
