Check out The Thatch Caye, great team of staff, we went with them last year and loved every minute of it.

Not wanting to put you off but the weather can be pretty grim in November and you may end up losing diving days....

But if you stay at Hopkins you have to take a 45 min boat ride every day to the reef.... Think about staying on one of the cayes closer to the reef and save yourself the daily commute.

If you are staying at the Catalonia then they have a ProDive Mexico franchise there. The diving around the hotel (and Playa del Carmen in general) is pretty poor, but you have the option of diving in the cenotes (a must see) and Cozumel (a long day trip but worth it as the diving is excellent)...

Check out Thatch Caye near South Water Caye, we stayed there at the beginning of the year and loved every minute of it.......
