Brilliant! I have just placed an order for a bunch of diaphragm covers and exhaust Ts. My entire family dives modded 109s and the covers are ageing (and not gracefully!).
I took my two new Simon-built regs to the pool to try out this morning. Absolutely perfect out of the box! I have them paired with two mk17s and they work beautifully! Can’t wait to try them in the wild! Many, many thanks Simon! I’m tempted by the last 3...
I also got my two g250Vs today. They arrived beautifully packed and are already installed on my cold water rig along with mk17 first stages! Many thanks Buddhasummer.
Hi Jim
I’m 55 and did the course last month. I found it really helped that I had gone through all the theory well in advance. I think it would have been difficult to get to my room after a full day and then try to understand the theory from first principles. I would definitely also recommend...
Thank you Dan. It's a thought provoking article. As a 52 year old diver who regularly dives deep on air, it's something that I am aware of, but you have codified it very succinctly!

I have both. I have dived with suunto computers for many years (mosquito, D6) and have been a fan. I bought an eon steel and moved to Mauritius at roughly the same time. I am a CMAS 3 star diver and found a number of other 3 star divers in Mauritius. CMAS is one of the last agencies which...

I have been really happy with my TUSA IQ 700 - until the last trip I did on a liveaboard in the Maldives. On day two, it started behaving strangely. I was into the 5th minute of my dive, was at around 20 Metres and ascended about 3 metres to avoid a coral outcrop. the computer beeped at me...
we have just returned from this trip. It was superb! the boat was excellent, the dive operation was safe, the dive leaders were careful and thoughtful. we were also very lucky to see four whale sharks (one while diving, three while snorkelling), mantas and lots and lots of other creatures. I...

I hope you have done your homework on the market - when i was last in the Andamans, the 'market' was western travelers on a very tight budget and India newbies who were unlikely to shell out the better part of Rs. 50,000 for gear. You will also have to deal with the joys of Indian...
I would recommend you read this: http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/3782946-post101.html
this was a sister boat. my wife and i have dived from the Stingray a couple of years ago. while the ship staff were very friendly and the food good, we were less happy about the dive staff. Dive briefings...
Thanks Shasta
i do admit the responses are a bit disappointing. Still, the Maldives is an outstanding dive location and one which i am willing to take that extra trouble for. i have ordered a CO analyzer and I will be using it. Hopefully, it will be a "wasted effort" :)
