I have an Epic and dove on Mar 1 and the computer and software logged it correctly. I can't say for sure about the AI because I don't own that particular model.

If you're interested in shallow, easy dives, you should probably stay with the west coast dive sites. Usually, the surface does not have big waves, the dives are shallower, and usually, there is not much current at the bottom. The south coast dives could have stronger current and larger waves...

The download on the Aeris site fixes the problem. I've had 26 dives since the new year and after the update all the dives were imported correctly. If you delete the dives with the wrong year, then import, the dives with the correct year will be imported again.

It looks like other people are having the same problem with other Aeris computers. Look at the thread http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/aeris/317923-atmos-ai-dec-31-2009-problem.html You'll see the same problem. Hopefully, Aeris will fix this very quickly. Ken

I had the same type of problem with my Epic. I did a dive on 12/31 and it imported as 2009. Then I did a dive on 1/1 and it imported as 2000. 3 more dives on 1/2, still 2000. 3 more on 1/3, still 2000. THere must be a bug in their download software as my computer is showing the correct 2010...

I have the Epic computer and have been downloading dives to my PC very successfully. However, on 1/1/2010, the dives have been coming in with the date of 1/1/2000. I have checked the date on the computer and it is set correct. Any ideas? Ken

Yes, Native Divers, Clive or Jads are very good choices, but I wouldn't dismiss all of the other dive shops. There are other good operators besides those 3. Ken

Yes, they do have 2 big boats, but they always have enough DM's to keep the groups around 6 or 7 people. Many times, they limit the number of divers just because they don't have enough staff to keep the ratio's in line. Ken
