BA is one of my favorite Cozumel shore dives. Lots of lobsters in the cinder blocks scattered along the bottom. Watch out for the fire coral on the fence of the stingray pen.

I was not allowed to rent a tank for shore diving from Del Mar Aquatics when the port was closed. Don't know if other shops follow suit.

Either the cenotes or the Playa bull sharks. When I was last there in November, they weren't running the bull shark dives because they (the bull sharks) hadn't been showing up. If they're back I want to try the bull shark dive, if not then the cenotes. Looking at 4/12/13 for that so if I end...

There is a small reef just north of the Atlantis submarine pier across the road from Casa Del Mar. Lots of small coral heads, sea fans, lots of juvenile fish. Only about 15 to 20 feet deep but nice (by Cozumel shore dive standards).

I also spotted one on a shore dive from Hotel Cozumel last November. It was north a bit (towards SCC) in a grassy area. This was also my first one that I spotted myself. :banana:

Well we finally pulled the trigger for an April trip. Myself and Mrs Pelagic (non-diver) will be staying at Hotel Cozumel 4/6/13 to 4/13/13 and diving with Aldora :goingdown::goingdown: (divers).

I lost a camera on Barracuda reef when the current was rippin'. Maybe I should post in the Cuba forum to see if anyone's found it.

Agreed. We escorted a dog back last December. Easy. Makes you feel good, too.

Ha Ha. It wasn't until the next day that I was able to put 2 and 2 together and understand how the Barbie line got it's name. That was a strange sight to see deep down in a dark cenote.
