    Best Scuba operators in Aruba

A third vote for Clive (dive aruba). I generally dive with him every late October. I have ones planned next week. I only dove with one other operator on the island, Native Divers, Romeo Croes. Romeo dives for 40 minutes regardless of the remaining air. Clive sets his dives based on the...

    I highly recommend this operation.

    Curacao in Apr

I stay at the Marriott in Piscadera Bay and generally dive with Mark and Suzy of the Dive Bus. The shop at the Marriott is Caribbean Sea Sports. The house shore dive is fun but nothing to write home about.

    February Vacation Ideas

I suggest Grand Cayman. I am sure there are direct flights from NY. Seven Mile Beach is great for the family and the diving is very good. There are numerous resorts or you can rent a condo. Restaurants are plentiful and varied to suit the adults and kids palettes. as for diving, I use Indigo...

Recommend Indigo Divers for Diving on Grand Cayman

I have used Indigo Divers also and highly recommend them. Great operation. I was concerned about their small boat but it was a joy to only dive with 5 other people.

    Curacao

Since you are staying in town, I recommend Rozendaels for dinner. It is located across the street from the Avila Hotel. If you want to shore dive one day, I suggest The Dive Bus.

Curacao - hotel and dive shop suggestions

I have been to Curacao 4 times and dove with Mark and Suzy of the Dive Bus each time. The last time was in March 2012. They have great operation. The house reef is very good. I highly recommend them. FYI, my avatar shot was taken under the pier at the Tugboat

    Aruba ?

I have been to both islands and own a Marriott timeshare in Aruba. I have been to Curacao 4 times and Aruba once. The diving in Curacao is better but the restaurants and night life are better in Aruba. There are more things to do during the day for a non-diving spouse/family while you are...

    aruba? great small dive operation?

I like Romeo Croes at Native Divers. He has a tent between the Marriott Ocean Club and the Marriott Surf club. He usually takes out 6 or less divers. There is a great snorkel reef about a mile for the Marriott properties. For the life of me, I can not remember the name but it is around Malmok...

    Dive op for Curacao

I am heading to Curacao the first week of March and staying at the Marriott in Piscadera Bay. I am diving with Mark and Suzy of the Dive bus. It will be my third time diving with them. Portofinos at the Curacao Marriott is good restaurant. E-mail Suzy and she will give you advice.

Marriott in Curacao or Aruba need dive operator

I have been to all three islands and am heading to Curacao in early March. Curacao - I have stayed at the Curacao Marriott and am staying with them in March. It is a great hotel. As for diving, I prefer the Dive Bus. Suzy and Mark are great (all shore dives). They will also pick you up I...

    7mi Beach/Marriott Dive Op recommendations?

I have stayed at the Marriott and use Indigo Divers. Indigo's owners, Kate and Chris, are great. The have a smaller boat and only take out 6 people. Kate will pick you up and drop you off. I highly recommend them

    Cruise to Bermuda

The closest dive shop to Kings Wharf is Blue Water Divers at Robinson' Marina at Somerset Bridge (smallest Drawbridge). It is probably a 5-10 minute cab ride. Here is the link. Blue Water Divers & Watersports : Bermuda's longest running PADI Scuba diving & watersports centre The other west...

    Aruba Diving Recommendations

I second Romeo of Native Divers. He runs a good operation and is personable. BTW, I think he only takes cash

How should we do Grand Cayman?

It will depend on where you stay. The east end is quieter but lacks restaurants and nightlife. Seven Mile Beach has more activity but the traffic can be brutal at rush hour. If you stay on the SMB side of the island, I recommend Indigo divers. Chris and Kate only take out 6 people on a...

First timers in Bermuda-- need hotel, dive shop/site, scooter rental recommendations!

I dove with both shops a few years ago and do not have a preference. Each shop was professional. At Dive Bermuda, you may not be able to directly board the boat due to tides. Make sure you ask them. I did not and had to swim to the boat with my BC on and a reg that was not attached to a tank...

    Curacao

I have stayed at the Marriott twice. I recommend it and am thinking bout going back in Feb 2012. The beach is rocky so bring water shoes. While the main restaurant on site is very good, I recommend renting a car and enjoying other restaurants around town. There is also a penthouse near the...

Lost Reef Adentures Dive Shop in Key West

I did a double dip on the Vandenburg with them last August. The dives were great. The divemaster was great and his briefing was top notch but I had a couple of issues with them: Smoking was allowed on the boat to the annoyance of many of the divers (majority were non-smokers) They also...
