    Leaking mask

I'm not saying that silicone is a bad idea. But why use a band-aid solution. I personlly would remove the lens and see what's up. Might be something as simple as dirt. There are plenty of examples of lens replacement on youtube that might help with removing the lens. Really it's your call. Cheers,

    Captain Don vs Buddy's

I've stayed 3 times so far at Buddy's and like the convinience. From the airport pickup/dropoff, the drivethru tank pick up, free nitrox, breakfast buffet. Food at the pool bar is pretty good. A lot of the rooms have been renovated. The staff is friendly. And when I go back to Bonaire will...

Fantasy Island Trip Report, April 8-12 2011

Thanks for the report As for the regulator being hard to breath and you pressure gauge dropping when you took a breath are you sure the tank valve was fully opened? You'll get the same type of issue.

    Who carries a Safety Tube?

I never dive without one, although I've not had the need to use it, but it's always there, like my mirror and whistle, don't leave home without them.

    curacao - private guide wanted

I agree with diversteve, you can't go wrong with the Dive Bus. Depending on where you're staying on the island they pick you up and drop you off, supply lunch and are very friendly and safe. Small groups, so you're not lost in the crowd. Enjoy Curacoa BTW, when in March? I've just booked...

    Easiest computer to use

The easiest computer to use is the one you're familiar with. Go visit your LDS and see what they have to offer. A few things to consider, are you planning on diving Nitorx, then make sure the computer supports Nitrox. Do you want to downlaod your dive profiles to a computer? Is the battery...

    Bare. No? Yes?

Hi Sarusanj I have a Bare Blackwing for a couple of years now and love it. I did look at the Voodoo, but couldn't justify the extra cost for the ability to inflate it like a jacket BCD. I dive in all kinds of different environments, from the tropics, to the Great Lakes, and with winter here...

    Bonaire/Curacao for Beginner divers????

Jennfl In either case I don't think you can go wrong. However you did mentioned that you would prefer guided tours, and if shore diving is the main plan then you might do better in Curacao diving with someone like the Dive Bus. As Nivek mentioned they're a lot of fun. Just don't tell them I...

    Ocean Encounters Curacao

I've dove with OE on a couple of their special trips, Mushroom Forest and East Point and enjoyed both, but did most of my diving with the Dive Bus, Mark and Suzy run an excellent operation. So my expereince with OE is limited. The dives we did do were on fairly big, stable boats with 20+ divers...
