Ya I'm old enough that I can pretty much guarantee the distance.....I'm not going to get into a dialogue on expansion and contraction. Thanks
When I tried to use extra hose my biggest fear was a kink where the hose connected to the catheter. Now that I have a quick disconnect maybe I should try...
Something that has always puzzled me about routing of the p-valve hose. If the shortest distance between two points is a straight line AND gravity carries everything down, then why route the hose up?
I understand if your trim position is horizontal and you only pee when diving then you...
I have been promoting this trip to all my friends..... BUT I'm looking forward to diving in "The world's aquarium.". Thanks Dora and thanks Elena for the invite. See ya Aug 4.
My friends and I use to dive Flat Rock when we were in High School back in the EARLY 70's. After a long layoff I started diving again and though for nostalgia purposes it might be fun to try it again... One look at the trail and I climbed back into the car... Takes me too long to heal.
I am...
As the Title indicates, I'm looking for a Recsea or FIX housing for a Canon S95.
I'm building a rig starting with the camera. Also looking for strobes - 2 S&S YS-01, 110a or Inon S-2000.
Eventually a WA lens.
Thanks
Rich
loko2dive - Did not hold the Fix in my hands. Looked at it online and went to bluewaterphoto nearby. Really like the way the Recsea feels and the machining. Looks like the housing will fit it like a glove. Hope that helps.
Best of luck
Well I have traded up from my Sealife DC1000 to a Canon G12 with a Recsea housing. Now I'm looking for strobes and maybe in a few months a fisheye lens. So if you are looking to sell one or two S&S YS-01 strobes, let me know.
Thanks
Rich
I bought a G12 - cause I got a good deal. Went to see Scott at BlueWater and bought a Recsea for the G12. After a lower end P&S went with the G12 and a Recsea. What a piece of engineering..... WOW this thing does everything...
What next.. Would love to get a pair of S&S YS-01's and...
I have one and used it as a primary light, just playing around. Works great and my buddies turned their lights off and relied on the Sola 1200. Doesn't last long at full power.
Biggest drawback - The velcro wrist straps - HATE THEM. I have tried emailing Light & Motion but get no reply. They...

DevonDiver - Just want to say thanks for the blog. I personally believe that buoyancy is the MOST important skill and I work on it everytime I dive. It's nice to read your blog an pick up on the finer techniques that have passed me by.

Jeramy,
Thanks a TON. Athens Scuba Park looks incredible with all the sunken structures to explore. Quite a drive though, in my case, for a day of diving. Tenkiller and Elmer Thomas look really interesting too. Like the sound of lot of fish. The more I read it sounds like those...
Greeting from Los Angeles. I'm going to be in OKC from July 17- Aug 5. Not sure what will happen if I'm dry that long so I would REALLY like to try some OKC area (+/- 2 hours) diving.
Talked to Allen at Bluewater - really nice guy. Sounds like a nearby lake may be a good place to start but...
Wow - all I can say is Holy Crap. Haven't looked at this for a while. Took me 20 minutes of looking through posts to figure out which Cat Express boat everyone was taking...
For those that come after me:
