Scuapro has ther new meridian computer out that is ment to be worn all the time in and out of water. It does have some extra features you probably wont use but you never now. It is in the middle on price when it comes to dive computers.
If she liked the biolite then would probably go with that out of those choices. Aeris and oceanic are the same company so there are many similarities on the BCDs there. Zeagle makes a great BCD as well. You might also want to look at the litehawk from scubapro if you want a light bcd and not...
You can get some other gear that will perform just as well or even better if you check out Subgear products. Designed and distributed by scubapro but at a less expensive price
The subgear action is still a smaller mask. The subgear vibe is a little larger as well as their Sub Vu mask. You might also like to try the scubapro SOLO, Spectra or frameless
HAve your local scubapro dealer sen it back to scubapro for you. They will more than likely replace the unit if it is still under warranty and your the original owner. They will more than likely upgrade to the 2G because they are out of Primes at no charge.
Depending on place of residence the prices are going to vary. I am not sure how many dive shops are in San Antonio but here in Florida we have plenty of shops so naturally prices come down a little. Ballpark price range depending on brands would normally be $100-$130. For full gear servicing...
If getting the computer theres is no need for a 2-gauge console. unless you want to be redundant incase you forget your computer, battery dies something like that. you can get some pretty slim 2-gauges now and it would be only a few bucks more.
Your right the difference is going to be the weight integration factor and cosmetics of the map design. The litehawk is a nice strip down back flotation travel type bcd that still has the full size wing instead of a lower lift travel type wing.

just take it to a scubapro dealer and they send it in to get the battery replaced. Dont try and replace it yourself. The battery is oil filled and will leak.
rocket fins and jet fins are heavy and might be to much work on the legs for you or your wife if you are just doing open water type stuff. We used to sell the Vipers and had very little problems with them but they are a little stiffer. The scubapro jet sports are a real nice flexible fin with a...
It sounds like the problem is all in that you are using the stiffer rental fins. If you can find a store that will rent you some higher end ones you will see a differance immediatly. It doesn's have to be a split or paddle fin. You will see its easier just switching to a better fin. If you dont...
Our best seller for women is the Bella W/Air2. We have not had any complaints about it from many customers. The hips are cut just right were they sit just above the hips and the harness comes across great to minimize restrictions. It is weight integrated also with large pockets if she likes...
