    I love my VT3. I am going to buy a second transmitter for my pony. You can use up to 3 different transmitter at a time. You can use them for you or your buddyÃÔ tank. It is nice so you know how much air is in your buddyÃÔ tank.

    Gasser If you like the LDS then go to them. I am sure all agencies have bad worms. All may certs are with SSI and I have had no problems

    Integrated BC/, or weight harness?

    I use a integrated BC. However I dive with some guys that use both when they are in a 7m suit.. 10lb to 12lb in the belt and the rest in the BC. This also helps with removing BC at depth.

    It must have a Air XS 2 on it the MSRP for it is $199.95.

    The MSRP on that BC is 569.95. you may want to find a new LDS if you paid $750 for it. The LDS should swap it out if you need a smaller size.

    Hang out and get to know you’re LDS and the leaders that work there(don’t take money with you). Talk to the LDS before you buy anything online a lot of times they will give you the same or better deal if you ask. Remember you can’t buy Air on EBay.

    I would try a different brand of hood. It sounds like your hood is too big. All you need is a small gap to let air in.

    The diver cannot go deeper than the 40 foot mark. With that said as a dive leader it is your responsibility to keep them safe and within that standard. I would not take them over the abyss.

    This is from SSI Training Standards Try Scuba Diving Standards (Confined Water/Open Water) The maximum depth of dives for participants 10 and 11 years of age is 20 feet (6 metres). The maximum depth of dives for individuals over the age of 12 is 40 feet (12 metres).

    Mike, In my post I did say most of the time. All the fresh water diving I do is in small lakes or quarries. PS. I would love to dive in Lake Michigan some time.

    Most of the time the shore is a lot further away in salt water. If you get away from the boat you can be in a lot of trouble. You should have a safety sausage with you so the boat can see you if you come up away from the boat.

    Looking for First Computer Recommendations

    I really like the Pro Plus 2. I know it cost more but it is a long term investment. I really like the air-integrated computers. I also like the big display it has nice big numbers. Nitrox is a must.
