Oh, you're the best and ask great questions.
Okay - here's some As to your Qs: We loved Anthony's Key in Roatan and Little Cayman Resort.
We enjoyed several Sandals years back (Grenada, Negril, and St. Lucia) but in all the Sandals - we did not care for the herding mentality.
And once we...
Ugh. That's what I had a sneaking suspicion might be the case. With your vast experience, @tursiops, I would welcome other options we might research and explore, if you have any suggestions. :)
Turning 60 in style!
I'm planning a celebratory all-inclusive dive trip for my 60th birthday in January. Knowing winter seas can be tricky, I researched locations and stumbled upon Dressel Divers, a new outfit for us. We have a quote for Dressel Divers with Iberostar in Bayahibe, Dominican...
Both of our scuba travel bags that we've flown with many times are officially worn out.
While buying new travel bags is an option, we are also exploring alternatives.
We both own sturdy ScubaPro roller mesh bags and love them.
Instead of buying new scuba travel bags, would it work for us to...
Excellent. Thank you for the update. Love that they have a deco chamber on site. Sorry that you had to use it and hope you're feeling better. Your post reminded me to go click RENEW on our DAN insurance. :-)
A couple other questions: how were the underwater sites? was there plenty to see and...
Fair questions.

I’ve always been intrigued with Bonaire, but shore diving is hard on me because I’ve had my left foot rebuilt, which inhibits my range of motion and ability to bear the weight of my gear without paying for it later. So, I’m glad to know there’s an opportunity to do both shore and boat dives...
Semantics. Divers get wet and look grungy when they are out of the water. If I'm following a eat-dive-eat-dive-rest-dive routine... I can guarantee you I'm not really thinking about the resort. I'm probably thinking about my next dive, stories to tell about it, and how my photos turned out. ;-)
Good points to keep in mind. I just love the aspect of one price gets everything accomplished for me at the resort. It makes me feel a bit spoiled and I can pretend to be a wealthy heiress or something. RLOL (I'm soooo not that kind of person. I'm just kidding.)
Excellent insights. I did double-check our reservation and we do indeed have a room with an AC. I think we have to check AKR off our list and just go with an open mind. I just completed a 4-day underwater photography class, which has me focused on macro and I hear there's incredible macro...
