St Lucia or Turks & Caicos

^^thats pretty well aligned with what i've heard, not going down to the southside of the island and all. the Grande is pretty much as north as you can get on st. lucia so it'd be a 2 hour ride (each way) down to the best diving. im sure they run down there, but maybe not more than once a week...

    Regulator or Me?

like everybody else has been saying, its most likely the reg. I just bought my own reg last summer and there is an UNBELIEVABLE difference between your own, quality, reg and the ones that you get from a dive shop. they may be decent when brand new, but they're VERY used.

    Sea Monster

i had a rottie growing up and it certainly didnt have a beak! One of my best friends in the world is the guy being quoted in all this (kelso) and we've been out to Montauk together before. He's been telling me stories for years about seeing a creature out in the dunes at night and it wasnt...

i certainly cant speak from experience, but my friends dad is a DM out on long island and has dove the Doria once before. from what i understand the conditions down there are extremely variable and can change at a moments notice. you may have 10 ft vis one minute and be in a complete blackout...
