Thanks everyone for thier opinions. My wife wants to visit Santa Fe this summer, and I was just trying to make the trip worthwhile.

Has anyone dove The Blue Hole in Santa Rosa NM? It looks interesting to say the least. I'm thinking of taking a weekend trip up there. Santa Rosa, New Mexico : City of Lakes

I would say it's safe to assume it will be open all summer. And it's at a high flow right now, which makes great diving conditions. We need to take advantage of a great dive site while we can. as far as the cost, once you take the class, where else in Texas can you dive in crystal clear water...

There's usually plenty of dive buddies around, may have to beat them of w/ a regulator hose. I'll be there & not diving the boat.

Don't forget the stunning yellow suits you get to wear too. And the spectators from the glass bottom boats. I've only been a couple of times since getting certified last summer. I'm available as a buddy if needed, and available pretty much anytime.

Add me to the list. I plan on camping Fri & Sat. I'll be by myself. since the wife doesn't dive.
