190, Trip Report : USS Moray Submarine (San Clemente Island — 190 fsw)
Color me super jealous. I keep hearing rumors the navy is either leaving or toning down operations on the island, but I doubt it. If they do, maybe more people eventually can visit. But guess that's a double edged sword...
yeah, same experience. I push my Petrel 1 to Shearwater and to Subsurface (and update the time) via a spare Android I have. For CCR dives I just use my Nerd 2 for the data, or glance at the shearwater logs. I have contemplated upgrading to the latest Petrel though. That Petrel 1 also refuses to...
I have and use both. I personally prefer MacDive. MacDive imho, unfortunately needs 2 purchases to be fully utilized. The MacOS license and the iOS/iPadOS one. Use the mobile one to import and run the GPS tracker for auto dive site tagging. Then use the MacOS one for any heavy editing, typing...

In your carryon I would put...
Having had the chance to fly high enough to see the curve of the earth (military aircraft past FL500) and also flying in the far north seeing the aurora borealis effect in full strength, this is a very accurate statement. No screen how good can compare to having seen those with my own eyes.
