    Great tip, thanks.

    cootwo not holding oxygen calibration

Yeah it’s probably just over a year old. I’ll need to order another sensor soon ($80 plus shipping) :(

    cootwo not holding oxygen calibration

UPDATE: I tried using the app and set the time to 48 hours for expiration. However, when I tried to calibrate through the app it mentioned there is something wrong with the O2 sensor and that it should be replaced. However, when I calibrate it seems to be very accurate when compared to other...

    cootwo not holding oxygen calibration

The battery was dead before this started happening. I charged it to full and then the next time I used it it started happening. The battery indicator shows a full charge.

    cootwo not holding oxygen calibration

Yeah it turns off after being on for about 2 minutes or so then when I turn it back on I have to recalibrate it. In the past it used to just tell me to replace the sensor, I haven’t seen this behavior before. Makes me wonder if it’s the sensor or something wrong with the unit itself.

    cootwo not holding oxygen calibration

Hello, My cootwo just started losing its oxygen calibration every time it's powered off. When I turn it back on, it always reads "O2 Cal Expired" and I have to go through the calibration again. The sensor seems to be reading ok. Is there any way to fix this? Should I replace the sensor?

DIR- Generic DIR Standard Gases Logistics

Hmm, if you can’t keep END less than 100’ and cant keep an average PPO2 less than or equal 1.2, maximum 1.4 (deco 1.6), then I wouldn’t do the dive and I would never advocate doing so. Go reef diving, plenty to see :)

DIR- Generic DIR Standard Gases Logistics

Don't assume that just because you're a "UTD diver" you can't dive non-standard gases. You're a diver first, apply your knowledge of decompression accordingly. Dive your desired PPO2 at the target average depth and keep your equivalent narcotic depth to 100’/30m or less. Don't ever dive deep...

DIR- Generic SPG clip off - hip or shoulder?

You also may need to move your d ring back a bit. It’s common when people first set it up to have it too far forward.

I'm curious about that too. The course equipment requirements still say "Coming soon."

Curious if they will teach any method to be able to mix teams of SM divers, BM divers, and RB divers too.

My Journey into UTD Ratio Deco

Olariuas == Sebastian right? Hi :) :happywave: You might remember our conversations over FB. A majority of states in the US recommended Trump but look where that got us. Just because an option is the popular one doesn't mean the option is the right choice for everyone. PADI and SSI are...

You can read into that as much as you'd like, I'm illustrating how there are two sides to this story.

My Journey into UTD Ratio Deco

You are projecting. I never called you a liar. However, any time UTD Ratio Deco is remotely mentioned on this board you always seem to want to derail the discussion into your personal experience with Andrew Georgitsis and how he told you, apparently, that it works fine in altitude diving...

My Journey into UTD Ratio Deco

I don't think anyone would profess to know how DCS works exactly :) . However, this is where you and I diverge in opinions. I think getting shallower quicker puts more stress on your fast tissues, and I believe Type II DCS is more related to problems with your fast tissues, and Type I relating...

My Journey into UTD Ratio Deco

You’re entitled to your opinion AJ. It’s more of a slowing of the ascent. Thirty second pause and 30 second roll up.

My Journey into UTD Ratio Deco

What depths/BTs are you referring to? UTD RD 2.0 has "cascading ratio deco" for certain depths and times which might match more of the schedule you're looking for. You definitely can't perform a Buhlmann-based ascent on a UTD RD 2.0 profile, as UTD RD 2.0 is not Buhlmann; it incorporates it...

My Journey into UTD Ratio Deco

I don't shorten deep stop times. For a 170' dive, the additional stop time is 3 minutes between 110' and 90'. Three minutes in that range isn't anything to fight about practically; anyone who thinks one is going to have a significant slow tissue problem in the shallows by spending an...
