    Buh bye, de minimis!

And that is what I am complaining about. That is just bad management. As is subsidizing shipping out of China while charging importers who have brought the product into the US more to ship within the USA. You are being very deceptive comparing the military to the postal service. As you well know.

    Buh bye, de minimis!

You trying to tell me the military as well as the post office funds it's own operations?

    Buh bye, de minimis!

Uh huh. Who is going to pay for retirements for all those Federal employees? https://www.realclearpolicy.com/articles/2022/06/23/the_us_postal_services_insatiable_appetite_for_taxpayers_dollars_838732.html...

    Buh bye, de minimis!

A raise in rates does not translate to no subsidies.

    Buh bye, de minimis!

The smallest flat rate box from Seattle to Oroville WA, about 270 miles is $10.60. $6.82 for up to a kilo from China. Yes Trump raised the rates way up. Yes, they are still heavily subsidized. Impact on small eCommerce packages from China On July 1, 2020, USPS raised the fees it charges for...

    Buh bye, de minimis!

With the US taxpayer paying the postage. Don't forget that part. We are paying the postage to move jobs out of the USA.

Shortage of hot dipped galvanized tanks in the US?

Yes, if tanks are going to be painted, white is good.

    Buh bye, de minimis!

And the US government subsidized the postage. I'm gonna miss it, but it needed to go.

    Buh bye, de minimis!

I can buy 100 for a dollar. I suspect if I asked for a million they might cut me a deal.

Still a penny a piece from O-rings and More.

    Flying After Diving

The pressure you are breathing it at is the same.
  12. B

Overweighted at beginning of dive but underweighted at end in shallows

This is what you said. "The composition of the cylinders holding that volume of gas also plays a role." It is false, in relation to buoyancy change.

Overweighted at beginning of dive but underweighted at end in shallows

Some tank materials lose weight at the end of a dive? No, it is only the air in the tank that changes.
  14. B

Overweighted at beginning of dive but underweighted at end in shallows

True. You weight for the end of the dive not the beginning. That is up to your BCD.

    Looking for sturdy bag

    Nice, but heavy.

    2.4 Kidde compressor available

No, I have one spare but I'm keeping it just in case. They are not the way to go today. Too old, too hard to fix.

I don't understand: breathing deeply and using breathing for buoyancy control seem to contradict each other

If you want to get the most O2 out of your air and get rid of the most CO2 when you exhale, you will pause after the inhale, not after the exhale.

Overweighted at beginning of dive but underweighted at end in shallows

If you wear the same amount of lead. Which even you know not to do.
  19. B

Overweighted at beginning of dive but underweighted at end in shallows

But you are carrying enough weight to offset that buoyancy. It is the change that matters, not the positive or negative buoyancy of the tank when empty.
  20. B

Overweighted at beginning of dive but underweighted at end in shallows

And what is the buoyancy shift for an HP80? I'll give you a clue. It is slightly more because it has slightly more air and 500PSI is a smaller proportion of its air.
