I do inspect it, that’s how I found it. Never had a tank slip.

I leave that up to the valets 😀. I worry more about them using one strap instead of two… which has happened a few times.

A lot of youse have a helluva lot more dives than me and you may not have had a tank strap come loose. I dive pretty much exclusively warm water DM led dives and I’ve seen single tank bands loosen (and tank hanging) twice and once on a drysuit course on one of the students. For me, I’ll use two.

That is worse than anything I saw on GCM. 😕

I agree. One cam band and a carrying strap not over the valve can be trouble. I think Zeagle’s all have two tank bands.

I have only seen one lionfish on 12 dives. Maybe the culls are working… or they are smart and hang out deeper. If their numbers are down, hopefully the reefs will become “fishier”.
