I made a check out dive with a neighbor whom I experienced her maturing from a toddler to a delightful young lady. It was shallow and boring, but I was with her experiencing her transition into a certified diver After the dive she honored me by asking me to sign her logbook. SDM

Lobster diving fatality - Gaviota, California

@Bob DBF "As for divers, a wetsuit is use for thermal protection when kayaking. Not only does it help on a cold night, but it's f'n cold when I wound up in the water without one, even on a sunny day. A wetsuit will keep one afloat, but not keep ones face out of the water when unconscious. And...

    Calypso Aqualung

@Ghost95 Red Label? Has no meaning The regulator appears to be the first model Calypso released by U S Divers in 1961 -- 60 years ago! In 60 years of use I would expect it to be "beat up.' I also suspect it is considerably older than you- or maybe even your parents See US Divers...

The book was in rough draft-- it was sent to "experts" to review -- One "expert" liked it so well he rushed it off to a publisher with his name as the author The Readys were living in SoCal on a green card and were either confused or didn't want problems with future Americna citizenship, so...
