I dive to see the critters. I love swimming along a wreck and looking in every hole, nook and cranny. On my last dive there a huge school of mixed sea bass and blackfish (tog) going back an forth in slight surge. A sight I will never forget!
So far my favorite is the San Diego off Long Island, a war ship sunk during WW1. 65 to the wreck 110 to the bottom. It is a very old wreck but still in OK shape. Lots of places to look into.
I have to say that was my last dive. Maybe my next wreck will be my new favorite!

I am a new member to this board. I was first certified in 1978 and did about 20 dives with my last one in 1981. This year I re-certified and have done 5 dives since, some off Long Island on the EaglesNest (highly recommend) and a couple in the Gulf off of Bradenton.
