It's not a good thing.....Bears in National Parks, sharks as a diving attraction, there's a long list and many studies.....They all come to the same conclusion.....DON'T !!!!!

It's a difficult call....Really depends on what your wife may/may not be comfortable with...Dry (and there are several different types/styles, some people like one but, not another) will keep her dry/warm but she may not like a particular style or dry at all....And the cost of trying to find one...

Try lighter fins or experiment w/weights ( pockets ) on top cam band......You said 'buoyancy' in your last sentence, did you mean 'trim' ?????......Buoyancy needs to be down-pat before 'trim' can be where you want it.......
