Pull and glide.
oh and as one GUE instructor told his student when he couldn't make the distance first time "MTFU!" :)
Seriously though. Pull and glide.
For a 50m dive I'd do 9mpm up to 80% of the Ata, then 6mpm to the first switch at 21m.
Not a really a deep stop, effectively the run time would be similar if I stopped there for a minute and then continued at 9mpm to 21m.
From an anecdotal point of view, I've been finding this method leaves me...
I have XTX200's they're fairly robust.
Most I ever do is soak the 2nd stages for a bit in the bathtub with all the other kit and leave them to air dry.
The 1st stages might get dunked briefly (I have DIN) but I don't soak them.
I have had them freeflow when I've been extremely lazy and...

If your legs are hanging down, try adding a tail weight.
Doesn't make sense does it?
Artificially lengthening the tank can actually help bring your legs up as it gives you the confidence to really push into a horizontal position. It's a common fix in the UK. We will either dive with...

It was on a friends FB feed.... who lives in the Philippine. No idea how he found it first.
I worked in Broome for a bit, after you get over the nice sunsets, there's not much to do without a 4WD and that croc was probably the most interesting thing to happen up there for an aeon.
Doubtful. For a working visa you would have to advertise the job and say why an Australian can't fill the position. For a dive instructor that's not an easy task. If you wanted a German speaking instructor then maybe, but a uni-lingual dive instructor living in Sydney? Ten a penny.
I'd get a...

Now TBH if I saw that thing in the shallows, I probably wouldn't even go down to the beach to take photos ;)...
We seem to be not talking about the Elephant in the room.
99.9% of dive guides will be on Air. Who will often do 7-10 days straight diving and between 2-4 dives a day, also on air. 10 dives in 5 days is just not that big a deal.
Inhabitants of Alice Springs or a Great White?
I'd rather go diving ;)

Note: Before anyone kicks off I used to live in the outback
Doesn't sound like you're that interested in diving then.
I'd stay at DM level until you get a BCD and Reg even if it is 2nd hand.
If you do want to become an instructor, get PADI first then SSI, it'll work out cheaper.
But don't dismiss UK diving until you've tried it.
