I read the OP and have been thinking about it all day. I can't figure out how geology and physics could result in an air pocket in a natural cave at 600 feet of water. I hesitated to post because my question is a bit off topic, but I can't get it out of my head.....what, if anything, am I...
I think the most dangerous thing about riding bikes is the other guy. Yes you can mitigate that somewhat, but as another poster said, what is a fender bender in a car can be a serious injury on a bike. That's what steers me away from them, at least on public roads.
I've riden off road and so...
I can see your problem if you want to take your computer for service, but what's wrong with sending it for service....and if you're going to send it do you really care where in the world it goes?
If you want to always take your computer for service which one would you buy that would allow that?
The water is cooler in March than in October/November, but there are still things to see. The resident reef critters are there year round. The bull sharks tend to like the cooler temperatures. The schools of Jack's are in the late fall. We always stay at Baja Bungalows and dive with Thierry...
There's a form on the Shearwater website you can fill out with details of your computer's problems. Presumably they'll get back to you with instructions on getting it serviced.
You're not paying import tax, you're paying GST and PST or HST, depending on which province you're in. You'll pay those same taxes if you buy from an online or brick and mortar shop in Canada. Any other import charges are the carrier's fees to clear customs. Some charge more than others.
I'd try the mask that @mako sends. If that doesn't work you may have to modify a mask to fit your temple area. I use the DRIS sealant and it does help, but it may not be enough.
I was never bothered by them when we were in Roatan, but I don't usually sit on the beach. We have similar creatures here in British Columbia and in particular at our cabin. They seem to come and go, so maybe it's the same in Roatan. We also encountered some minuscule biting insects in Cabo...
I haven't been to Las Rocas for a few years, but it is in a nice location and would be a good choice for a family of 4. At the time we went they provided transportation to and from the airport. There were enough eating establishments in West End and West Bay that we didn't have to leave the...
Fair enough, but how do Shearwater or whoever else maintains the list know that the digitally acquired serial number comes from a stolen computer.....if everything is done through the existing update system.
Someone would have to take responsibility for maintaining the list and ensuring it was correct. There would need to be a process for submitting the serial numbers of stolen computers, including verification that the serial numbers were valid and the computers were actually stolen....this would...
We have done dive trips to Placencia (Belize), Sabang Beach and Anilao (Philippines), Roatan, Cozumel and Cabo Pulmo. The only one that has a quality hospital nearby is Cozumel. It's also flat and has a number of dive shops and resorts. Unfortunately it caters primarily to cruise ship...
Just a couple of questions.
What might the person with Crohn's disease need in terms of medical care?
What types of activities are the children interested in?
Can you view the video on the GoPro? Did you use the same computer both times? Have you had this problem with SD cards that weren't used in your GoPro?
