It also amazes me how many of the 'deaths reported' here are divers without buddies at the time. From reading these for years, it has instilled in me that the possibility of death while diving, if I am in contact with my buddy, is dramatically decreased.

The 10 day stay is what screwing you (i'd assume at least). Mon-Mon end of august/beginning of Sept is 699, 7 or 14 days.

Considering this, all someone would need to do would be to say they 'don't know how', or (as politicians do) 'forgot' how to do cpr properly.

I doubt any possible thieves would be out and about with all the bugs as well. In all our trips, we leave nothing valuable, and personally, I lock the truck. If they want to take the chance for flip flops, go for it.
