Up for sale is a lightly used (6 dives) Kraken NR-650 dive light. This light is the perfect travel light as its small and feels great in the hands. Can use a 18650 battery or 3* AA's. Great burn time... I got 3 hrs on a 18650 battery and really nice light output. Comes with the light, 18650...

    Mixing Cam Bands and STA

Yes, quite easily actually. Simply slide the pocket over the strap and position. It locks in place when you cinch it down with tank attached or you can use some bungee to keep it in place. I know they are pricey, but they have been amazing when swapping tanks on a boat. So easy to remove...

    Mixing Cam Bands and STA

Apeks griplock :) I prefer these to the SB ones as they are super quick and easy to adjust for tank sizes, while also being "pinch-less" on the fingers. Checkout youtube for a product review on these.

New Dive Rite CX1: First Impressions and reflections..

Thanks for the review. Today I decided to order one and sure enough you are the first review I found. Surprisingly, not many threads here about the BX1 or BX2 either. I found this vid review on youtube of the BX2 which shows it against the popular ANO r105t. What a difference! The best part...

    BX2 Light

@Saniflush Thanks for your experience. What about the twist on/off. Is it the same portion of the light that you twist on/off where the battery goes or is it higher up on the head of the light near the glass? I've always found lights with twist on/off where the battery goes to be hard to...

Dive Rite XT vs Deep 6 Eddy

Over the last 2 months, I have been able to dive the xt's, current jet fin (from taiwan), xdeep hard compound, and f1 lt's. If the jets werent so heavy I would stick with them as they actually fluttered the best of the bunch I tried. Thr f1 lt's were awesome for backing up, but thats about it...

Tried the new boots and Eddy Fins today. A quick review

Nice review. r can tell you from experience that a proper fitting boot is the key to getting the most out of the eddys. For me, after using a half dozen different boots, I found the large eddys fit like a glove over an 11 size Fourth Element Pelagic boot. In the water I can truly say i do not...

HP hose with adaptor to lp port

Im an undercover scuba office Cameron..... BUSTED!!! Ok in all seriousness, if I were to go to home depot and get a brass adaptor to use for something other than the "intended purpose" of connecting a threaded plumbing pipe to it, clearly the manufacturer would say dont do it due to legal...

HP hose with adaptor to lp port

Just checked my first stage that i intended to use for this and its a piston so no way getting that ip that low. I guess the 2 lpm flow restrictor + needle valve is the way to go. Good info on the flow rate of a hp hose on an lp port. Thanks again guys for the help.

HP hose with adaptor to lp port

This is most helpful, thank you for doing this experiment for me. And thank you all for your input. I think I will tune the ip down as much as possible on the first stage, loctite it in place, and also use the nuvair 2 lpm flow restrictors. That rating is said to be using 100psi, so if I...
