OK here is my secret weapon. Go to your local sign shop preferably one that also does automobile graphics and ask for a piece of 3m stonegaurd. It works great! they may even give you a piece for free if it is scrap.

Just so you know the pouches secure into the webbing on the BC ( with the little plastic tabs) as well as the tank cam strap ( which goes through a loop). They are handy as they allow you to split your weight and to adjust trim easier.

Safety note: Breathing and buoyancy are related but remember never use your lungs as a BCD. If swimming along and you want to rise over an object avoid the temptation to take a big breath and hold it so you will rise. If you get caught in a rising current the possibility exists of lung...
