    Dive Rite CX1

I love my cx1. The only thing i hate about it is the price. It lasts easily 2hrs and much brighter than most lights (dgx, hog, etc). New Dive Rite CX1: First Impressions and reflections..

My BW Technology (Honeywell) Gas Alert Microclip X3 has been performing perfectly and it can test air, co, and 2 other gases all in a tiny portable unit. Check it out.

Lowest profile single tank wings (with built in STA)?

Not to start the whole "mine is smaller than yours" debate :rofl3:, but we really are splitting hairs here between say a vdh 18 vs a dgx 30. The size of both are so incredibly close, I actually prefer the #30 wing simply because it allows me a larger buffer of lift if an emergency arises (such...

    DGX design change

Thats great to hear. I always liked the internal bladder of DSS wings as its sized very close to the outer shell. And attributed that to effortless venting (although i've never used one). The DGX vents beautifully so far, so no complaints from me :)

    DEMA update

Thanks. So from the looks of it, the new version has a hex end on the second stage portion. What/where is the "side lock"?

    DGX design change

I bought one and used it on a couple dives so far. I swapped out the dump valve for a standard elbow and replaced the stock inflator hose (huge) to a VDH 13" one. Absolutely perfect wing for travel. As mentioned, its easier to fold than the VDH due to its thinner material so its my new travel...

    Xtar D26 1100 vs D26 1600 Review

I agree about the safety aspect, however for the type of diving I do its highly unlikely that my light will get caught and cause me to get stuck. Plus, i find it equally impossible to cut the small knot off the bolt snap in the event that this rare occasion actually happens.

    Xtar D26 1100 vs D26 1600 Review

I use a small stainless split ring that is attached to the light and d-ring. It wont ever break.

    Xtar D26 1100 vs D26 1600 Review

Thanks. I have the CX1 which is awesome, but wanting to get a few more cheaper alternatives that are atleast the same or brighter. I guess the 1600 would be closer in output as the CX1 is a lot brighter than the BX2.

    Xtar D26 1100 vs D26 1600 Review

Is the light in the middle the BX2? If so, how would you compare that lights brightness/output curve to the xtars?

    DEMA update

What about new lights. Anything from xtar?

XTAR will attend the 42nd American DEMA Show 2019 at the Orange County Convention Center

Is the d26 2500 going to be released or was that cancelled? Was there anything about it on display?
