I love my cx1. The only thing i hate about it is the price. It lasts easily 2hrs and much brighter than most lights (dgx, hog, etc).

Thats great to hear. I always liked the internal bladder of DSS wings as its sized very close to the outer shell. And attributed that to effortless venting (although i've never used one). The DGX vents beautifully so far, so no complaints from me :)
I bought one and used it on a couple dives so far. I swapped out the dump valve for a standard elbow and replaced the stock inflator hose (huge) to a VDH 13" one. Absolutely perfect wing for travel. As mentioned, its easier to fold than the VDH due to its thinner material so its my new travel...
I agree about the safety aspect, however for the type of diving I do its highly unlikely that my light will get caught and cause me to get stuck. Plus, i find it equally impossible to cut the small knot off the bolt snap in the event that this rare occasion actually happens.
Thanks. I have the CX1 which is awesome, but wanting to get a few more cheaper alternatives that are atleast the same or brighter. I guess the 1600 would be closer in output as the CX1 is a lot brighter than the BX2.
