In line bleed valve for poormans transfill

If you have an old inflator-hose, just use that. And just use an allen-key to press into the hose so you depress the schrader-valve. This is what we do on suit-inflation hoses.

    What helium-valve is this?

Thanks. The diameter seems to be 7/8inch / 22,1mm, and depth 13/16inch / 17,5mm. Looks conical in the base.

    What helium-valve is this?

Hi, I just got hold of two partly used helium-tanks, but I don't know what valve these use for connecting to my booster. It's not our normal inertgas-valve, it may be some kind of Uk/Us/Eur valve. It's diameter is larger than Din5/8. Does anybody recognize these? Alexander

    Who has had to bailout?

Twice. 1. In Plura cave close to the air-chamber, co2-hit. Probably caused by used scrubber and "inspired" driving on gravel road to the divesite. Made a couple of mistakes, but walked away with decent gas-reserves in the bailouts. 2. OW-dive to about 50m, recognized the signs from first...

    Gralmarine Lights

I mostly use the 10ah battery. Yes you can buy a bigger/smaller battery later, easy to switch. Don't worry about hurting your buddy with your light, the light isn't blinding unless you put the spot in their eyes. And that hurts from most lights. I have dived with people using focus/focus2...

    Gralmarine Lights

I have the 3XML-2, I'm very pleased with this. Good for signaling, and also good light outside of the spot. I mostly use it on the 30% setting, and 100% when needing to see far in good viz. I use it for both deep wrecks, ow and caves/mines. I have both the 23ah battery and the 10ah battery, but...

    Breathing O2 during surface interval

We had a web-lecture in Norway touching this topic last fall. As I remember you had to breathe pure O2 for at least 25 minutes for effect, but then the effect was quite good.

    E/O Port Plugs ?

If(Read: when) the cable for the connector breaks and a cable change is needed, cutting of the plug and sealing it with blackwitch makes a cheap blind plug.

Apeks high profile vs low profile

I have both, for more than ten years. Both have worked flawless. I prefer the low profile as it is easier to get in to and out of the harness.

    New Apek's drysuit valve issues?

I have 5 drysuits, 4 came with Apeks fitted and one with SI-Tech fitted. The SI-tech didn't last long before it stopped working and was swapped with a Low-profile Apeks. Apeks just works, in the fully open position..
