    Question about using SurfGF...

So what you're saying is that my NDL is in a superposition of all possible NDLs and only upon observation at the surface is the state determined? Does this involve quantum entanglement with my buddy by any chance?

    Question about using SurfGF...

Great. Now were talking quantum mechanics. Talk about getting out scienced from one's own thread. sheesh.

    Question about using SurfGF...

SurfGF tells me my GF if I were to be instantly transported to the surface. It was my original assumption that that value represented a theoretical maximum GF value since because in reality, as I ascend, I would be off-gassing during the ascent so the actual GF that I would have after surfacing...

Making a steel dive computer - input needed!

functional. but i'm not going to try to debate the practicality of a +20 grand dive watch. That said, OP, I love your idea for a great looking watch. Just make sure it has all the features and capabilites of my Teric! Add a cool analog watch style display that is as realistic as on this...

Ballast change from 50F to 80F water?

Do it. You don't want to wear a wetsuit that someone else has peed in. (Unless you're into that sort of thing of course. We don't judge here.)

Ballast change from 50F to 80F water?

5'11" 165? Get yourself a 3mm. 12lbs will be more than enough with an al80 and an unbroken in wetsuit. Take off pounds as needed after a weight check at each dive's safety stop. I'd guess you will probably end up around 6 or 8 pounds.. oops.... didnt see the ss backplate.... so take off 5...

Question about DIN regs w/ adapters

Yeah most of the boats in Florida that rent hp100 tanks for me are using DIN tank valves and the poor deck crew are always looking for the fittings or the correct allen wrench or orings to switch over.

Question about DIN regs w/ adapters

Thinking I might pick up a new regulator this year if I find any good black friday type deals. Would like to get a DIN but there are a few places I go which tanks are yoke style and I would need to bring along an adapter of course. My question is does the yoke adapter along with the din first...

new diver - first dive problems

I get the feeling that OP is a competent free diver and spearo. I think he somehow figured that strapping a tank on his back was just an extension of both these sports allowing him to do the above but deeper and longer. But still....

    Teric feature wish-list - Oct'19

I would eliminate the switch gas feature in Rec mode and simplify the edit gas feature in rec mode to have only one gas option which is "on" all the time and for which you can change the numerical value of like on a typical rec dive computer.

    Teric feature wish-list - Oct'19

For rec diving only.... A simple mode or setting for single gas only diving such that it is quicker way to switch gas on the surface than having to go to "edit gases" and/or turn on and off certain gasses. I have no need to switch gasses during dives but I would like a faster way to quickly...
