So I asked Joe, Joe asked Oxycheq, Oxycheq says:
"I have seen the marks before. The bladders are two dimensional and the shell is three. So, the bladder is going to be larger. If it were the same size, the shell would be too big once the bag was inflated. Urethane that thick does not stretch...
I finally found the answer from Oxycheq:

"Also, each of the bladders is match for the outer shell. This keeps air from trapping and keep the outer shell from taking the brunt of inflation or over inflation...
Well, good for you. But is your wing's bladder too large and creasing up inside your outer jacket as well? I'm a perfectionist, I don't like the idea that my wing (costing a few hundred dollars) has such a IMHO major defect. It niggles at me incessantly :depressed:
Pics!
Deflated bottom end
Inflated bottom end
Deflated top end
Inflated top end
Apparently permanent crease marks at each end
Comparing lengths
I measured: The length of the flattened bladder is about 76cm. Length of flattened outer cover is about 65cm...
I have the oxycheq mach V signature 30lbs. THe inner bladder is larger than its outer cover, so the bladder already considerably squashed up even when fully deflated, and gets even worse when fully inflated, specially near the inflator hose inlet.
Is this normal? Will the bladder soon crack...
Reminds me of some of the fancier toothbrushes with a joint made from more flexible material between the handle and brushhead, or in between the brushhead itself.
Wow! I guess this really demonstrates the power of the internet eh, if it didn't allow such a heated discussion from so many people all over the world, we might all still be stuck with the old humongously wide wings!
I had a good experience 1st time ordering from scubatoys. Fast response and quite obliging. And of course the discounts being a forum member and all! Hehehehe!
