    2.4 Kidde compressor available

No, I have one spare but I'm keeping it just in case. They are not the way to go today. Too old, too hard to fix.

I don't understand: breathing deeply and using breathing for buoyancy control seem to contradict each other

If you want to get the most O2 out of your air and get rid of the most CO2 when you exhale, you will pause after the inhale, not after the exhale.

Overweighted at beginning of dive but underweighted at end in shallows

If you wear the same amount of lead. Which even you know not to do.

Overweighted at beginning of dive but underweighted at end in shallows

But you are carrying enough weight to offset that buoyancy. It is the change that matters, not the positive or negative buoyancy of the tank when empty.

Overweighted at beginning of dive but underweighted at end in shallows

And what is the buoyancy shift for an HP80? I'll give you a clue. It is slightly more because it has slightly more air and 500PSI is a smaller proportion of its air.

Why is becoming a DM considered not worth it?

In the Puget Sound it would be impossible most of the time for a DM to keep track of more than 1 person. I suspect California is the same.

    Helium instead of air....

It is coming. And often sounds like an actual person who can regurgitate information that they don't understand to support an incorrect conclusion. This is the case here.

Variety of dive sites from same OP?

My experience is mostly with 3P's. We seldom dive the same site twice in 2 or more weeks. If we do, going up, or down, or off to one side gives a different experience. Although I kinda enjoy thinking "Wait a minute...I know what is right ahead!"

Question A sudden feeling of dread and fear during a simple CCR dive

I'm not a CCR diver, but CO2 narcosis gives me that feeling of dread. On OC two deep lung clearing breaths makes it go away.

Their target market is tax dollars. Ever been to Majahual? Up the street from the cruise port is a hotel. Multistory, shiny new when we were there. The street away from the cruise port was 4 lane, wide and fancy. A few blocks inland was a new hotel. Well away from the ocean. No customers. The...

You know me. I just go there to sweat and be eaten by bugs in the jungle. You notice they now admit that the train won't work by carrying passengers. So now they are going to carry freight. More track, more trains, etc. Hauling freight to and from industries in Q. Roo should be a big moneymaker.

Time for new regs? or rent?

I suspect you are talking about Sherwood Maximus. Parts are easily available. If you want rid of them I'd be a buyer. I like having spares.
