With two Shearwaters, are you also carrying a watch and depth gauge to use with the written deco plan when both your PDCs fail? If not, then what is the point?
All you need written is key navigation points and tasks, and that's only for sufficiently complex dives.
Halcyon valves have very good flow, so something is wrong with yours. Sometimes the duckbill valve clogs if it's not rinsed well after dives.
Your suit should always be dry or it's not a dry suit and needs repair.
Go somewhere and get good Sidemount training then come back and do deco training with an instructor that is in back mount. Your tech instructor doesn't have to be in Sidemount just because you are.
When you switch dill to Nitrox, your PDC immediately assumes you don't have He in the loop, but you are off gassing He into the loop. Therefore I believe it is most conservative to stay on your bottom dill. It also doesn't impact deco much.
If your switching dill and not switching your PDC...
Bluetooth does not work underwater, pressure transmitters are ultra low frequency.
I believe there is a company (Rhino?) making a wireless PPO monitor.
I recently got the notification that the cells and conversion are available for the Sidewinder.
I tested one of the OS cells in a pressure pot in witch I use a standard Petrel to read the cells. It's pretty much perfect up to 2.0. I've sold that cell and plan to get one directly from KISS so...
Sorry, that was a really weird typo ("Bungee"). I'll be able to get a pic today.
Edit: @Wibble already posted his pics. Side benefit is not having the bungee Knot digging in your back.
If your brain is the most likely thing to fail, is adding another brain just adding a second most likely thing to fail? Does it double safety or double risk? :stirpot:
