    Blue Hole NM Collapse?

I found all the classes that where supposed to be at Blue Hole in Aurora Res.

So ACR now has a PLB with AIS in the same unit

This thread had me second guessing that mine was satellite based. https://www.acrartex.com/products/resqlink-400/

Mike goes through the new Dive Talk Go

First dive on the Greenflash sensor yesterday. It and the two new SF2 cells were all within .02 of each other for the entire two hours. Toward the end I lost cell one readings on my Perdix, but not the Nerd. This is one of the analog cells. I'm thinking I must have a short at the solder joint...

Anyone experience weird residual DCS symptoms before?

This is pretty much my life without regular chiropractic care. A lifetime of betting the crap out of my body and everything needs assistance to stay in place. Warning: There are a lot of bad chiropractors out there. It's kinda similar to trying to find a good scuba instructor.

Info Helium is expensive and deep air is not my thing. -Let's talk about "Big" dives.

My group often does "shallow" second dives to 40 meters to wrap up a dive day. Once you have been trained, planning it isn't a big deal.

Doppler sensor to measure bubble formation after dives

I believe David Doolette said fairly clearly in RF4 that doppler bubble measurements are only useful across large test samples and not for the individual divers/dives. https://rebreatherforum.tech/program/

Question Bailout gas configs for tech/deep chestmount rebreathers

How about EOL at JB with two 50s and no stages.

Question Bailout gas configs for tech/deep chestmount rebreathers

Me too, but a plan for a higher SAC for bailout.

Question Bailout gas configs for tech/deep chestmount rebreathers

I see a lot of strait up stupid CCR gas planning. Primary gas aside, why is everyone in cave country afraid to take an 80 of O2. I see CCR divers planning an hour of deco with just a 40 for bailout, and probably not even a full one.

Question Bailout gas configs for tech/deep chestmount rebreathers

This "~" does not mean this "<". Please go back and look at your post. I don't think shutting down your necklace reg is ever a good idea. Better to have hypoxic gas than no gas. Even on OC taking "Air Breaks" with hypoxic back gas at the 10ft/3m stop has never been an issue for me. So I'm...

Question Bailout gas configs for tech/deep chestmount rebreathers

10/70 is .2 at 10m. Why is there even a question if this is an issue?

Question Bailout gas configs for tech/deep chestmount rebreathers

I don't have an ADV, but when I did, I turned it off above 10m. Either way you would have to do a full loop flush to have an issue. It's pretty standard these days to keep your bottom mix plugged in as your dill through the entire deco.

Question Bailout gas configs for tech/deep chestmount rebreathers

10/70 is only hypoxic above about 15'. Getting from there to the surface isn't a big deal on NDL dives. If there is concern about having to do work on the surface, I'll bring a 40 of O2. Edit: Air is 0.16 pp at my home, so my idea of hypoxic may differ from yours. Edit: typo on gas content.

Ascent rates - normoxic Trimix on OC

@boulderjohn and @PfcAJ, I believe your arguing between planned and actual. Actually achieving 30fpm between stops seems difficult once you calculate in starting and stopping the ascent it probably ends up more like 10fpm. Personally these days I'll sit a couple feet under the stop and start...

Ascent rates - normoxic Trimix on OC

    Dive Talk Go Rebreather

The depth limitations is from the CMF and the O2 regulator intermediate pressure(IM). You would need a smaller CMF/needle valve and a higher IM to go deeper.

    Dive Talk Go Rebreather

Making this up: The new ownership had to decline to produce the GO as they now own all of Mike's intellectual property. I'm guessing due to the plan to make a stacked SW configuration. The only thing recreational about the go is the canister size. Other than that it's a fully functional...

Question Bailout gas configs for tech/deep chestmount rebreathers

For those using a single dilout bottom gas, have you ever actually lost it on a dive? I ask because I used to dive that way, but actually having a lost gas situation changed my attitude about it. For me it was the 150' 21/35 scenario described above and I had to get up to plug in my 32%. I...

Mike goes through the new Dive Talk Go

Finally got time to re-terminate my subcon cables. Hopefully I'll get back to regular downtime in a couple weeks.
