PST did indeed make plenty of LP120s.
8" diameter, not quite 30" tall, weighed almost 52lbs empty. Big tanks.
I'd post a pic (if I could find one) but honestly they look like any other PST hot-dipped galvanized cylinder, just...really big.
Luis, if you look on your camera there's a pretty good chance you can change the color balance. Set it to "incandescent" (or something equivalent) and that light will be represented as a much whiter color.
Let me get you a photo of my 72s and we'll compare. ;) Something tells me yours have...
Monkseal has it right -- this sounds like the classic "don't solve a technique issue with gear". :D Just make sure you can tell exactly where you are clipping things.
On that note, it will occasionally happen. Not a big deal.
Personally I see this as a "chicken little" scenario.
For starters -- I understand and accept the risk of overfilling, and so do the people who fill my cylinders (if I'm not filling them myself). If they didn't accept that risk they wouldn't do the filling, would they?

You are looking at an older steel 72. Congrats -- if it is in good condition you just got a great cylinder! Are you able to post pics? If the cylinder is in good condition and you treat it well, chances are good it might outlast you.

I use a Torus 38 for double 72s and it works great. I have also heard that most 72s out there are neutral to ~ 1lbs negative when they are empty. Hmm....probably depends on the manufacturer.
