Has anyone had a “free flowing” nose on a rebreather?

Happens frequently and its annoying, particularly when your in a pic on ccr - the people without bubbles....... and there's bubbles coming out of my mask! Only cure for me is to squish the mask against my face to create a vacuum. However any time I adjust the loop volume I need to redo this process

I think I saw that list........ wasnt it full of crap with suggestions like adding fans to the loop to make WOB easier?

Rebreather Service. Self or Factory only?

AP are self service, the manufacturer provide step by step servicing guides with pics. I think being able to self service is handy, it helps you to learn the unit and helps you keep it running if away from a shop on a trip.

    AP handset button stuck on

As your unit is so new, I would avoid self repairs, its still under warranty. Not sure how the service is over the pond, but in the UK I would post that back to AP You could try soaking it in warm soapy water to disolve any gunk under the switch. its also worth noting that the 2020 has...

PSA - Shearwater "Live" Deco & Bailout Plan

Depends on the bailout circumstances really, if you need to get up asap then playing with GF is going to take time and stress. The AP inspo has automatic user definable GF for on the loop and another set of GF for bailout. I think its a great idea

PSA - Shearwater "Live" Deco & Bailout Plan

@Shearwater can we also have seperate GF settings for bailout? Possibly a bailout countdown also, based on a sac setting, bailout GF and the pre defined bailout gas list - with an additional 3 minute warning that your about to exceed the gas available in your bailout plan. After all, we can...
