Petzl the dive company! Make sure to toss the ascender in fresh water or rinse it soon after leaving the water, the aluminum of climbing equipment does not like salt water (or salt in the air) at all.
Example 48inch with non-swivel female NPT terminals. They have TONS of options both hose and terminations.

Was looking up high pressure stuff yesterday in switching one end of my whip to a quick disconnect for DIN tank or CGA580, I think those hoses and fittings are the same as for hydraulic use (high pressure, shouldn't leak fluid).
+1 for tension on the line before clipping off, clip it off a hole past whichever one it ends up at. It'll loosen a little when it's wet, so make sure to start getting it tight on the last handful of wraps so that it doesn't pull slack from further down the line.
^. Assuming your local community is anything like ours in southern California, you'd be hard-pressed to not find someone willing to lend you a corded primary, or any other gear really, for class/practice (likely with the understanding that if you break/lose it you fix/replace it :-) )...
Fresh off GUE Tech 1 (last week) with the newest version of the course material, ratio is indeed taught as a way to make adjustments to a plan, (but not as a the default initial planning method)
You could probably fill something like a Home Depot bucket (or a deep sink... or the tank on a toilet??) and get it deep enough to trick it into a "dive"!
Certainly a departure from the planes and boats that are usually on your blog! Photogrammetry is so fascinating. Couple of questions:
How long does it take start-to-finish (at least for the whale carcass)- from when you get the photos on your machine to when the model is ready, assuming you're...
TLS350 on a HangAir with the outer zipper mostly closed (slightly inflates the suit to reach the legs and feet) is dry in a few hours even with a few moderate leaks. Had a pretty good flood last week on a Sunday morning and was dropping the suit off for repairs Sunday evening; with a few box...
I've been climbing between regularly and obsessively for the past 11 years (hence my username); haven't been on many exotic dive trips but climbing has taken me to some cool less-than-mainstream destinations around the world! On and off road cyclist too.
The "aftermarket drysuit guy" (presumably Jose) just replaced one for me for $375. Turnaround exactly 2 weeks. Haven't dived it yet but looks like great work.
Ah thanks! Those are exactly what I was thinking of. Kept coming up with various metal and heavy rubber things when searching for "end caps". Just bought a few 2" ones off Amazon ("vinyl end caps"). 5cm for those shopping metric.
Haven't done Duene/SG, only the Vandenberg. and the Eagle. I thought the Vand. was spectacular because it's so big. Saw a lot of life on it too. (March 2020). The day before my first dive on it, there was a 6-8ft hammerhead hanging out a few of my friends got to see. The swim-throughs on it...
