One would rotate the part circled in red to release the pressure of the setup you depict. The OP supposedly concocted something using a similar yoke adpater, an HP gauge, and some kind of HP quick release mechanism, so they apparently have no pressure release mechanism in place. -Z

There is no hose to speak of in this case. The OP attached a gauge directly to a yoke adapter, and then connected the adapter directly to the valve of their cylinder. There is no hose, no first stage, etc. -Z

This is really personal preference. Some folks will look at the rotating turret of the 28XR as a possible additional failure point and say the 62X is the better way to go. Others will look at how they dive and want to configure their hose routing and look at the 28 XR as the better way to go...

I recommend Sub-Gravity. My wife is 5'2" and my oldest daughter is 5'0", they both have Sub-Gravity short stainless steel plates and love them. They fit their shorter stature much better compared to the standard size plates they dived with prior to purchasing the short plates. -Z
