I use a Mach V Extreme. It's one that doesn't have roll control, but it hasn't caused an issue even without an STA.

I was just talking to someone yesterday about making a Dive Log program for the iPhone. I am just going to reiterate what others have said about Geo-tagging photos, using the GPS to record your location. It would be awesome if it could communicate with dive software, but that is probably not...

ZKY hasn't posted for a few months now.. I have officially given up on waiting for this plate and will now spend my money on a Hammerhead or DSS steel plate. If you've been waiting as long as I have for this then it's safe to say it's not coming out, since the lack of updates from ZKY.

I have an Apeks XTX50. It's an Aqualung too. Awesome breather and a great cold water reg.

I settled on a set of Apex XTX50s, reg and octo, mid-range regs, something that I can use in cold water if I ever decide to go ice diving, breaths very easy and can be serviced everywhere.

My brother tried to purchase a Poseidon Odin from LeisurePro. They twice sent him used gear in very used and dirty reg bags, when he was told he would be receiving new gear. We decided not to deal with grey market dealers any more after that ordeal with LP. YMMV

I believe Compudude has a long hose and likes it.. I should have 7' hose tomorrow, but I can't test it until Thursday next week.

I'm a new diver and I probably just done understand, but isn't a long hose supposed to be wrapped around your body with the excess coiled up and stuffed somewhere? If that is done then how could it be flapping on a scooter?

XTX50 and XTX50 octo. I wanted a system I would never want/need to upgrade.

I went with a second stage that performs equally to my primary. Since I'll be breathing off of it and donating my primary, i wanted the same quality of air.

So is the EOS the same as the Aeris ION? Isn't that pneumatically balanced too?

Eric said they wouldn't be ready until April, so I'm not going to worry until May.. I have an old plastic BP that i removed from an old US-Tech BCD that should get me be for a few dives until I hear word from Eric about availability of the plate.

Any updates on plate progress?? When are you going to start accepting pre-orders? Are you still on schedule for an April release?

I'd cut the long hose in half with my knife and breath from it like a free-flowing reg. If the OOA diver is swimming like Spitz then he'll be 20' above me before he realizes I've cut the hose. At least one of us will be surfacing conscious and it's gonna be me. :D
